Volunteer Fundraiser (Kirkwall)

Fancy having fun, meeting great people, and helping save lives at sea?

Kirkwall RNLI Fundraising Group are looking for Volunteer Fundraisers to join a friendly team that raises vital funds for the RNLI through fun, community-focused events. From quizzes and coffee mornings to Station Open Days, fun runs, and even gin tasting nights, our RNLI fundraising calendar can be as creative as the people involved.

As part of the team, you could help organise events, welcome the public at open days, place collection boxes in local shops, or support behind the scenes with planning and ideas. Whether you love being front and centre or prefer helping quietly in the background, there’s a role for you.

How much time does it take?

The commitment is completely flexible. Some volunteers can only help at one or two events a year, others support behind the scenes when they can, and some are able to get involved more regularly. However much time you can give, you’ll be warmly welcomed and hugely appreciated.

You don’t need any fundraising experience, just enthusiasm, a willingness to be part of a team, and a desire to support a lifesaving charity. You’ll meet new people, learn new skills, and be part of something that really matters.
