Events Organiser (Swanage Lifeboat Week)

The RNLI’s network of local fundraising teams plays a vital role in saving lives at sea. Across the UK and Ireland, these volunteer-led groups organise a wide range of activities and events which together raised £14 million last year. Each team is supported by a Community Manager, but it’s the volunteers themselves who shape the programme of events and bring them to life.

We are now looking for motivated, community‑minded individuals to help coordinate Swanage Lifeboat Week - a flagship week of fundraising organised by the local lifeboat station and its volunteers. This is a lively, well‑established event that brings the whole community together in support of the RNLI.

As the Lifeboat Week Coordinator, you will take the lead in planning and overseeing the week’s activities. You won’t be doing this alone, you’ll be supported by an experienced and enthusiastic team of volunteers, as well as your local Community Manager. Together, you’ll help ensure the event runs smoothly, safely, and successfully, raising vital funds to support the RNLI’s lifesaving work.
