The Branch Box Secretary plays a key part in local RNLI fundraising by managing and coordinating the network of collection boxes placed in shops, pubs, and businesses. In this role, they oversee a small team of branch box collectors, ensuring boxes are regularly serviced, emptied, and replaced. They maintain accurate donation records, identify new box locations, and act as a friendly point of contact for local businesses. This volunteer position suits someone organised, confident handling money, and comfortable building relationships in the community. Full training and support are provided, making it a rewarding way to contribute directly to the RNLI’s lifesaving work.
