Branch Chairperson (Coulsdon, Purley and Sanderstead)
The RNLI is powered by people who care, and our Coulsdon, Purley and Sanderstead Branch has a rare vacancy for a new Fundraising Chair to help with the planning and organisation of our fundraising activities and events. This role includes:
-
Planning and delivering a calendar of RNLI events which would aim to connect with the local community in Coulsdon, Purley and Sanderstead, by hosting events, having a presence at local events, building partnerships with local businesses, and ultimately raising funds for the RNLI.
-
Managing an existing team of volunteer fundraisers and helping to attract new volunteers.
As part of the RNLI’s nationwide network of local fundraising groups, our branch helps support the lifesaving work by organising a wide range of community events and activities throughout the year. From quizzes to bucket collections to seasonal celebrations, there’s always something meaningful happening.
Every fundraising team is supported by an RNLI Community Manager, but it’s our volunteers who shape what we do. Whether you have a few hours now and then or can commit more regularly, your contribution will make a real difference. All are welcome, no experience needed, just enthusiasm and a willingness to get involved.
Volunteering with the Coulsdon, Purley and Sanderstead RNLI Fundraising Branch is a rewarding way to support a vital charity, meet new people, and play a part in saving lives at sea.
