Branch Chairperson (Kirkwall)

Are you enthusiastic, community‑minded, and full of creative ideas? Kirkwall RNLI is looking for a dedicated Fundraising Chair to lead our vibrant local fundraising team. This rewarding volunteer role is all about bringing people together, shaping engaging fundraising activities, and helping to support the lifesaving work of the RNLI. From coffee mornings and open days to quizzes and brand‑new event ideas, you’ll play a key part in planning and driving our fundraising programme in Kirkwall.

You’ll be joining a warm, welcoming, and well‑established team who are excited to bring in fresh energy and new perspectives. As Fundraising Chair, you’ll help coordinate the group, inspire volunteers, and keep activities running smoothly, while also having plenty of scope to be imaginative and try new approaches. You won’t be doing it alone. The role is closely supported by your full‑time RNLI Community Manager, Emily, who is always happy to answer questions and provide guidance whenever needed.
