Shop Volunteer (Kirkwall)

Do you enjoy meeting people and helping a good cause? Kirkwall RNLI is looking for Shop Volunteers to support our busy station shop. The shop raises an incredible amount every year to support the RNLI’s lifesaving work, and volunteers play a huge part in making that happen. Whether you’re welcoming customers, helping with sales, or keeping things tidy and organised, it’s a simple but rewarding way to get involved.

There’s also the option to help with our ‘table‑top’ shop, which travels to events across Orkney throughout the year. You can choose to take part in this or stick to the station shop; whatever suits you best. The time commitment is completely flexible too. Whether you can spare just a couple of hours a month or would like to volunteer more regularly, we’d be delighted to have you on board.

You’ll be joining a warm, supportive team who will make you feel right at home.
