Event Support Volunteer (Queensferry)
Are you looking for a flexible way to give back to your local community? Join the RNLI as an Event Support Volunteer and help us raise vital funds that enable our lifesaving crews to continue saving lives at sea.
This role is perfect for people who want to volunteer on their own terms. As part of our fundraising team in and around South Queensferry, you'll have the opportunity to support a variety of events throughout the year, choosing when and how often you'd like to get involved.
Whether it's helping to set up an event, welcoming visitors, selling raffle tickets, collecting donations, assisting with activities, or helping to tidy up at the end of the day, you'll play an important part in making our fundraising events a success.
No previous experience is required. You'll be joining a friendly and supportive team, meeting new people, developing your skills, and making a real difference in your community.
What you'll gain:
- A flexible volunteering opportunity that fits around your existing commitments.
- The chance to meet new people and become part of a welcoming RNLI fundraising team.
- Valuable experience supporting community events.
- The satisfaction of knowing you're helping the RNLI save lives at sea.
What we're looking for:
- Enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
- A willingness to support fundraising events as and when you're available.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
Every event you support helps raise funds that power the RNLI's lifesaving service. Whether you can spare a few hours occasionally or help at several events each year, we'd love to hear from you.
Volunteer your way and help save lives at sea.
