Museum Front of House Volunteer

Opportunity image

You will help save lives at sea by engaging museum visitors with the inspiring heritage of the RNLI, raising awareness of key safety messages and generating vital funds.

A key part of the role is helping to care for and preserve our historic lifeboats and exhibits, ensuring they remain in first-class condition for current visitors and future generations to enjoy. No special skills or previous experience are required. We are looking for enthusiastic, friendly people with a good sense of humour and a willingness to work as part of a team. While we carry out boat and exhibit renovation and restoration projects at the museum, full guidance and support will be provided, so prior restoration experience is not necessary.
